Program of Study (POS)

Your program of study (POS) is the plan of courses you will take in order to graduate. You create the POS plan with input from your graduate committee, so it necessary to first establish a graduate committee.


You should start working on forming your committee and creating your program of study (and their related forms) after you’ve completed two courses.


Complete the Program of Study form in your 3rd or 4th semester of the program, but be sure to submit it no later than the semester before you plan to graduate.

This deadline is strictly enforced.

Subsequent changes

It is possible to make a change to your POS once it’s created — you’ll just need to submit a change form.
